STICK MULTIPLICATION
Multiplying two and three digit numbers can be time consuming. We can use the stick multiplication method to solve it within minutes. Let's take for example, 21×13.
Let's take the first number 21. Firstly, draw horizontal lines starting from the top. Since the first digit is 2, draw 2 lines and then leave space and draw one line for second digit 1.
Now, draw dots at whichever points these two lines meet. Now, turn your paper slanted, such that your drawing looks like diamond shaped.
Finally, circle the group of dots as shown above. Write the number of dots in one group. Now bring the numbers together as one number and you have got your answer that is 273.
