CIRCLE

Formula for the perimeter of a circle = $$ 2πr $$   ('π' is the symbol of pi, which is used for calculating the measurement of circles. until it is specified, π stands for 22/7)

Formula for the area of a circle =$$ π * r^2$$   ('π' is the symbol of pi, which is used for calculating the measurement of circles. until it is specified, π stands for 22/7)

Let us work it out with an example:-

1.find the area and perimeter of a circle if radius is 4cm.(take Π value as 22/7)

SOLUTION:-

Area = 22/7*4*4 = 352/7.

Perimeter = 2*22/7*4 = 176/7.
