Formula for the area of a triangle = $$ ½ * b * h $$  ('b' means base and 'h' means height)

Let us work it out with an example:-

1.find the area and perimeter of a triangle who's breadth is 7cm and height is 8cm and the third side is 6cm.

SOLUTION:-

Area = 1/2*7*8 = 28cm

Perimeter = 7+8+6 = 21cm.
